Hiring Announcement
December 10, 2020 – ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Lawney Penner has been appointed as interim vice-principal of Steinbach Regional Secondary School, effective January 4, 2021.
Lawney is currently a physical educator and classroom teacher at Steinbach Regional Secondary School, having held this position since 2013. Prior to his current role, Lawney was a classroom teacher and guidance counsellor at Mitchell Middle School from 2007-2013. He has served as the program director/coach of the SRSS men’s hockey team since 2013 and has coached the SRSS women’s softball team since 2007.
